Finally...our trip to Louisiana!
We had a great time in Louisiana, though it passed by too quickly! The first day there we got together at Heidi's mom's house...they had the boiled crawfish waiting for us!!! DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! Her brother did an awesome job cooking them...seasoned perfectly!

Brooke's been to LSU before for football games, but it was quite a few years ago so she really didn't remember the campus. She was so stoked!!!! She kept saying "This is so cool!! I can't wait to come here! I want to live on campus!" And the icing on the cake for her was just seeing the sign:
Wednesday was our trip to New Orleans with Lexy, Hayley, Aidan, and Rachel. We had a tasty breakfast of beignets and cafe au lait (for the adults!) at Cafe' Du Monde. Right next to the cafe a movie was being filmed...Robosapien...so we had to take a picture...
Then it was off to the aquarium....
Then we walked around the French Quarter a little, had lunch, and we were pooped and ready to head back!
On Monday we took a trip to Baton Rouge to visit LSU's campus and shop for Tiger goodies :)
We brought Lexy and Hayley with us for their first (but not last!) trip to LSU. Ben's mom also came with us.

Yes your time spent at home was way too short but it was such a blessing to have ya'll here again.
OMG she's starting high school next year then off too college before you know it.
